Covid-19 update on March 25, 2020:
In order to protect both customers and employees from the current Covid-19 outbreak, the Norseman is working to reduce inter-personal contact in order to meet the recommended requirements for social/physical distancing in a way that allows us to continue to assist our customers to gear up for summer without putting anyone at undue risk.
Effective immediately we will be operating on an appointment only basis. One appointment holder (individual/family) will be given access to the store at any one time in order to give us all space and opportunity to clean between visits.
Our summer gear, tents and boots have arrived and we’re eager to share them with you. The Norseman remains committed to providing superior customer service and products even in this current crisis situation.
We hope that this proactive approach will encourage positive mental and physical health for our customers by allowing them to get outside - safely, in allowed areas, and in appropriate numbers - all whilst adhering to social/physical distancing and self-isolation recommendations.
Of course, our website will still be open for on-line purchases, and we will still be available by phone or email to arrange appointments, offer advice & information, or make additional purchases by credit card.
For those with outstanding rental gear, the Norseman has implemented a rental return drop-off at door system to allow customers to return their current rental equipment without having to physically enter the shop.
Please call us upon your arrival and we will meet you at the door to take your gear.
